Been out the last couple of evenings and had about 20 chub ranging from 1lb to 3lb 4oz my biggest from this section of river. Spent tonight catching them off the surface, running crust down to a weedy area with over hanging brushes, wasn't even able to see the bait as it was taken had to do it touch ledgering style. Excellent fun and extremly exciting.. Cant wait to get out again

Cant beat a bit of 'visual' chubbing mukka, we dont have any slow overgrown rivers here and its something i really miss from my time in the midlands. The closest i can get is bouncing an AAA down the slower sections off the taff, which incedently i havent done in toooooo long
