brought these as an up-grade from fox eos-r buzzers a few winters ago. have read a bit on forums before purchasing these and the jury was pretty much even with a few people having dramas with these in similar number to the people who were in love with there delks. i personally love these little boxes of indication, i have never had one single drama with any of mine, they aren't the prettiest of buzzers but i dont think any on the market are nice looking, so not a problem there. the sensitivity settings can be set a little to cute, but with a little practice the adjustable settings can be taylor set for the type of rig/style your using on that rod. a feature i use and really think its an aid to my fishing. for those thinking of getting so new buzzers, then look no further than the delkim txi+. fantastic.

100% agree with the review, although i dont posess the txi(and i would dearly love to have a set) i have had a set of delkims for the best part of 20 years, and until this year ive never ever had a problem with them.Even then the problems were fixed real quick, i knocked one delkim into the water whilst playing a fish and didnt notice till everything was sorted and i wanted to put the rod back out it must have been submerged in water for 30 mins, took it home battery out dried on radiator and its as good as new.The same session i changed a battery and the clumbst oaf i am pulled the conector off, a mate just soldered a new one on, both are working fine.
So if your looking for Alarms, for me it has to be the delkim

As a long time user of the delks, and having a set of Txi's since they first arrived on the scene, I can honestly say they are the best Delkim have ever made. The sensitivity is awesome, as are the volume (which I always have on zero) which goes from silent to F'ing loud, and tone from a high pitched bleep for when you dont care or are excedingly tired, to a low tone buzz, idea for when your on your rods or fishing the margins...
I will however mention one thing that can be an issue, though only after many years of abuse and neglecting to dry them out after sessions. The vibration sensor can go. You will still recieve a bleep, but to nowhere near the sensetivity it should. As I say, it will still tell you before your rod disapears into the lake, so that still makes it as good as any fox, but not up to the usual Delkim standards.
Delk will usually change this FOC, because they are the best, and I feel they like to keep that high standard...

Have had a set until they first came onto the market and have never had a problem with their uniqe indication settings.
You do have to be careful not to lose the battery cover when putting them away, it does tend to slip down when sliding the case on. This is my only gripe with them.
Even added a second hand one from flea bay to the other 3 that I had and this works just as well as the originals and at £56.00 as well it truely was a bargain.
Yes, Delks for me are the best out there.
